Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Department of Psychology offers a four-year undergraduate degree. The Psychology undergraduate degree program is designed to provide students with knowledge about the basic theories of modern psychology and research methodology. It introduces students to various subfields of Psychology and provides a comprehensive education of the field. The program not only provides knowledge about Psychology, but also equips students with basic research skills to provide them with work opportunities in various fields and the chance to continue with graduate degrees for specialization. Professional Psychologists can enjoy employment as clinicians, child, forensic and social psychologists or human resource experts, working in a wide variety of settings such as hospitals, clinics, universities, mass communication centers, prisons or industrial organisations.
The EMU Psychology undergraduate degree program’s curriculum is specifically designed to meet the standards of the European Diploma in Psychology (EuroPsy) in order to ensure that our students receive internationally recognized diplomas which will enable them to practice Psychology anywhere they choose to do so.
Psychology as a behavioral science is among the most important fields of the century. Those students who have already taken the preliminary steps, by choosing this department will soon discover the limitless realms of both human mind and behavior.
