Brief Autobiography

After defending Doctor of Sciences dissertation in Mathematics at the Faculty of Cybernetics of the Kiev State University in 1992 I joined the Department of Mathematics of the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) and held the positions: associate professor from September 1992 till March 1994 and then professor up to present.  Before I have been at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences from 1976 till 1992 and has defended my PhD Dissertation at the Institute of Mathematics of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (Kiev) in 1981. Besides research papers I am an author of two books. The first book Partially Observed Linear Systems under Dependent Noises, Birkhauser, 2003, presents new powerful mathematical methods for engineering problems such as stochastic control, filtering, controllability etc. opening new areas and resuming my research on stochastic systems up to 2003. The second one Mathematical Analysis Foundations, Single Variable, Elsevier, 2014, is written on the basis of my lecture notes on different analysis courses. I supervised 8 completed PhD and 10 MS theses, published about 70 research papers and participated in many international conferences.
